Who we are

Futsal Development Academy (FDA) is a year-round training program based in Louisville, Kentucky focused on developing complete soccer players through the game of futsal.

Our academy works with players ages 6 through high school and provides a structured development pathway that focuses on individual skill, tactical understanding, and decision making. Players train in a professional training environment where the focus is on learning, improvement, and long-term development.

FDA currently serves over 200 players across multiple age groups, with teams that train year-round and compete in high level futsal tournaments across the United States. Futsal Development Academy is a club-neutral training environment, with players representing many different clubs throughout the area.

Our program is designed to support and enhance club soccer development, and we carefully schedule our training sessions around club team commitments.

Our goal is to create an environment where players develop a true love for the game while building the skills and intelligence needed to succeed at the highest levels of soccer.

Our mission

Our mission is to develop high-impact players with elite technical ability, strong decision-making, and a deep understanding of the game. At Futsal Development Academy, we believe player development should focus on four key pillars:

Technical Development

Players must develop comfort and mastery on the ball through thousands of repetitions and creative problem-solving.

Tactical Understanding

Players must learn how to read the game, understand spacing, and make intelligent decisions under pressure.

Physical Development

Players are challenged through high-intensity sessions that improve agility, coordination, and athleticism.

Mental Development

We work to develop confident players with discipline, leadership, and a strong work ethic.

Our philosophy

Develop great individuals first, then great teams. When players become confident, intelligent, and creative on the ball, team success naturally follows.
