Futsal Development Academy (FDA) is a year-round training program based in Louisville, Kentucky focused on developing complete soccer players through the game of futsal.
Our academy works with players ages 6 through high school and provides a structured development pathway that focuses on individual skill, tactical understanding, and decision making. Players train in a professional training environment where the focus is on learning, improvement, and long-term development.
FDA currently serves over 200 players across multiple age groups, with teams that train year-round and compete in high level futsal tournaments across the United States. Futsal Development Academy is a club-neutral training environment, with players representing many different clubs throughout the area.

Morning Mentorship
Monday–Friday, 8:30–10:30 AM, year-round. Built for homeschooled players and non-traditional schedules.
Summer High Performance
June–July mornings, three days a week, for advanced players who want to keep pushing in the offseason.
Why futsal?
Futsal is widely recognized as one of the most effective development tools for soccer players. Many of the world's best players, including Lionel Messi, Neymar, Ronaldinho, and Cristiano Ronaldo, grew up playing futsal.
The game is played on a smaller court with fewer players, which creates a fast-paced environment where players must constantly think, move, and make decisions under pressure.

The coaches at Futsal Development Academy are a group of passionate and dedicated individuals committed to developing players the right way. Our staff focuses exclusively on player development and continues to invest in their own education through coaching courses, futsal licenses, and constant study of the game.

Played collegiate soccer at Lindsey Wilson College and professionally in Italy, Croatia, and Bosnia. Over a decade of coaching experience from youth to collegiate and professional levels.

Annual Player Evaluation & Team Placement Day
Open to everyone and required for both current FDA players and new players. Our coaching staff observes players in game situations and places them where they will be challenged, supported, and surrounded by teammates at a similar level.

How to join
- Complete the interest form with the player’s name, birth year, current club, and a parent contact.
- Attend the Annual Player Evaluation & Team Placement Day. There is a $20 evaluation fee.
- Get placed on a team. Families receive schedules, training updates, and event news through our communication platform.
